Festive start to the New Year for Nestlé Malaysia

Nestlé Malaysia today kicked-off Chinese New Year festivities at its head office in Mutiara Damansara in a colourful celebration which included a surprise visit from NTV7 celebrity guests.

Celebrations at the leading Nutrition, Health and Wellness Company included a lion and dragon dance, as well as a Chinese New Year theme office decoration competition which saw over 500 employees sprucing up their office environment with creative festive displays.

A surprise addition to the festivities was an appearance by NTV7 celebrities, Rickman, Jan Chin, Natalie, Ivan and Gary, who joined the lou sang ceremony, and conducted a meet-and-greet session with Nestlé employees.

MAGGI® will be sponsoring an eight-episode mini-series and television movie, entitled “The Missing Menu” on NTV7. The series features a story of the struggles that families go through, while portraying how love and close ties ultimately prevail and is sure to touch the hearts of Malaysians.

Featuring NTV7’s top artistes, “Missing Menu” also features special mouth-watering MAGGI® Chinese New Year dishes in the episodes. The dishes were developed by MAGGI®, and were inspired by traditional dishes from the various Chinese clans.

Commenting on the programme, Mr Alois Hofbauer, Managing Director of Nestlé Malaysia said, “Malaysia’s favourite brand, MAGGI®, has always believed that happiness is homemade, and in sharing more with our consumers. We have many activities lined up this festive season, from our MAGGI® “Lebih Masak Lebih Ong” contest which gives consumers a chance to win gold bars, to MAGGI®’s Chinese New Year Recipes and “The Missing Menu” series.”
